John Boffa from John Boffa Engineering (JBE) was retained by Aquamonix Pty Ltd in the capacity of Engineering Contractor for the duration of aproximately 3 years. The professional association commenced in June 2020. Throughout this time John has consistently delivered high quality professional services in two primary areas: 1. Cost-effective calibration services in a time-sensitive manner in order to expedite NATA accreditation and certification compliance 2. Engineering design services including designing flowmeters, factory layout drawings and flow rig assembly drawings Aquamonix was founded in November 2015 and has become a leading provider of innovative environmental monitoring and control solutions, delivering engineered systems across the Environmental, Disaster, Irrigation, Data and analytics sectors. John has blended well into a team of experts in the field of electromagnetic Flowmeters (EMFLUX) and Irrigation Control Systems (Rainman Controls). He has contributed to achieving operational objectives in engineering quality and efficiency in a lean environment. John has excellent communication skills, is well organised, reliable and has exceptional technical competence; he has delivered many projects based upon competence as follows: Scope out fixtures, tooling, and all other requirements for design and commission best practice, commercially optimised solutions Produce design and drafting solutions for product, fixtures, tooling and production layouts Prepare 3D CAD Design drawings to design standards using his Inventor CAD 3D software Implemented operational efficiency and process improvement solutions e.g. identifies new and improved machinery that would enable them to meet operational efficiency targets Preparation of competitive quotes, BOM and construction packages ensuring accounting for all developments in statutory design standards Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables Liaises with vendors and works closely with trades professionals on the floor in drawing/specification interpretation and QC John possesses clarity of thought and great problem solving especially in efficiency/quality issues. He is quick to lend a hand in other operational aspects around the business which makes JBE a tremendous asset – highly recommended.
